Yoga Therapy

Where breath meets movement to support real, lasting healing — from the inside out.

Yoga therapy at CE is a whole-person approach to healing that blends functional movement, breathwork, and nervous system regulation techniques with the science of Ayurveda and pelvic floor rehab.

This isn’t about perfect poses — it’s about reconnecting your body and breath in ways that restore balance, ease pain, and support long-term healing.

Our yoga therapy sessions are trauma-informed, creatively delivered, and completely personalized.

This care is rooted in evidence-based pelvic health practices — including gentle movement, myofascial release, dry needling (when appropriate), and Ayurvedic lifestyle guidance. Through it all, our goal is to help you move well, breathe well, and live well.

Why it Matters

Your nervous system plays a huge role in your pelvic health, digestion, sleep, and pain patterns. That’s why yoga therapy is so powerful: it gives your body permission to slow down, regulate, and restore. With the right movement, breathwork, and grounding routines, we can help:

Reduce pelvic and abdominal tension

Improve core stability and mobility

Reconnect your breath to your body

Support nervous system healing after trauma or stress

Enhance digestion, circulation, and sleep

Build daily rituals that promote balance & resilience

We believe movement is medicine — and sometimes, the smallest movements create the biggest shifts.

 FAQs

Do I need to have yoga experience to benefit from this?

Not at all! Yoga therapy is not about flexibility or fancy poses. It’s about using movement, breath, and mindful awareness to support healing, regulation, and strength—wherever you are in your journey. At CE, yoga therapy is tailored to you—your goals, your comfort level, your body. Whether you're navigating chronic pain, recovering from birth or injury, managing stress, or simply trying to feel more connected to your body, this practice meets you where you are. You don’t need to be “good at yoga” to benefit—our sessions are gentle, intentional, and rooted in evidence-based techniques that promote nervous system regulation, pelvic floor awareness, and overall wellbeing.

Is yoga therapy just stretching?

No way, it's so much more! While some gentle stretching may be part of it, sessions may also include breath retraining, pelvic floor awareness, guided rest, nervous system regulation, strength-building movements, or Ayurvedic lifestyle tips.

Can yoga therapy help if I’m already doing pelvic floor therapy?

Yes! In fact, yoga therapy is a beautiful complement to pelvic floor work. It helps regulate the nervous system, deepen your body awareness, and create rituals that support long-term healing. By combining movement, breathwork, and mindfulness, yoga therapy can gently reconnect you to your core and pelvic floor in a way that feels empowering and sustainable. It also encourages you to slow down, listen to your body’s cues, and build a consistent, nourishing relationship with your healing process.

Can this help with anxiety or stress?

Absolutely. Breath and movement are powerful tools to support nervous system regulation. Many clients experience reduced anxiety, improved sleep, and greater emotional resilience through consistent sessions. At CE, we integrate techniques like diaphragmatic breathing, restorative movement, and mindful awareness to help calm the body’s stress response. These practices not only support emotional well-being but also play a key role in managing chronic pain, improving pelvic floor coordination, and enhancing your overall sense of safety and balance in your body.
