Mobile Perinatal Clinic
Our mobile clinical practice brings pelvic floor therapy to you in the immediate weeks leading to and following delivery.
Your pelvic health matters!
During pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum recovery, the pelvic floor undergoes many changes and may exhibit signs or symptoms of dysfunction.
While such symptoms are common in the perinatal period, they do not have to be long-term!

Mobile Perinatal Clinic
FAQs
Where does the mobile clinic travel to?
Our Mobile Perinatal Clinic currently serves families across the greater San Antonio area. A flat-rate, one-time travel fee of $100 is charged for locations 25–50 miles from the COREssentials clinic location at The Alley on Bitters Road. If you're unsure whether you're within our range, feel free to call—we're happy to talk it through!
Do I need to prepare anything before a visit?
Not much! We’ll work with you to find a quiet, comfortable space in your home—whether that’s your living room, bedroom, or nursery. Don’t worry if the space isn’t “perfect”—we’re here to help you feel at ease and can guide you through setting up your space to support the session. That’s part of the service! We’ll bring all necessary equipment and meet you exactly where you are—physically and emotionally.
Is the mobile visit covered by insurance?
We provide you with a superbill that can be submitted to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. Your policy may cover out-of-network costs. It may also be possible to use HSA/FSA funds for payment. Please check with your insurance provider for specific coverage details.
Do I need a referral?
Yes—Texas requires a referral for physical or occupational therapy. This can come from a wide range of providers, including a chiropractor, nurse practitioner, OB-GYN, primary care physician, or other qualified provider. If you’re having trouble finding someone to refer you, don’t worry—we may be able to help with recommendations.
