FAQs
What if my symptoms don’t fit into a single box—like it’s not just orthopedic or just pelvic floor?
You’re in the right place! Our team works closely together across disciplines to treat the full picture. We specialize in complex cases that overlap systems—so if you're unsure where your symptoms fit, we’ll figure it out together.
Do I need a referral to get started?
In Texas, you don’t need a referral to be evaluated by a PT or OT. However, if ongoing treatment is recommended, we’ll need a referral within 10 business days. This can come from your doctor, OB-GYN, nurse practitioner, PA, or even your chiropractor—and we’re happy to help you get that process started.
What if I’ve tried PT or OT before and didn’t feel helped?
We hear this often. Care at CE is different—our approach is deeply individualized, collaborative, and whole-person focused. We’ll take time to understand your story, goals, and past experiences, then tailor a plan that feels doable, safe, and meaningful to you.
How long will I need to come to therapy?
It varies depending on your goals and progress. Some patients benefit from just a few sessions; others work with us over several weeks or months. We regularly re-evaluate to ensure your plan aligns with where you are and what’s working.
