Trauma-Informed Care
At CE, trauma informed care isn't a specialty—it's our standard!
We deeply understand that every person’s body holds a story—and sometimes, that story includes trauma.
Whether it’s from a past medical experience, a previous provider, or something more personal, we never want to be part of anything that causes further harm.
This is why our entire team is committed
to trauma-informed care:
creating a space that feels safe, supportive, and empowering.
We move at your pace, center your comfort, and always ask for consent before proceeding with any part of your care. You deserve to feel seen, heard, and respected every step of the way—and we’re honored to walk alongside you in your healing.

FAQs
Will I have to talk about my trauma?
Absolutely not. You’re never required to share anything you’re not comfortable with. You’re always in control of how much you disclose. What matters most to us is that you feel safe, supported, and respected during every part of your care.
Can I stop or pause an exam or session if I’m feeling overwhelmed?
Yes—always. You are encouraged to speak up at any time, and your provider will honor that without hesitation. You never have to explain or justify needing a break, changing course, or saying “no.”
Can I bring someone with me to my appointment?
Yes, we welcome support people in your sessions if that helps you feel more at ease. Whether it’s a partner, friend, or family member, your comfort is our priority.
